Lawful by design.
Accountable on the record.
Intelligence work is only worth buying if it was done the right way. These are the commitments HELIOS works under — and the registrations you can check yourself.
Public sources, read the way the public can read them.
Publicly available only
Global Watch and the HELIOS engine use public and commercially available sources. Nothing is taken from behind a login, a paywall we have not paid for, or a system we are not authorised to use.
Site rules respected
Automated reading follows each site's robots rules. Where a site forbids its API, we read only its public pages — or not at all.
Attribution
Every item names and links its sources, with a reliability grade. Readers can always check our work.
On the ground, within the law.
Ground Truth covers lawful commercial due diligence — confirming that sites, operations and events are what they are said to be. HELIOS operates within the laws of Korea, the United States and Thailand, and declines any request that would require unlawful collection.
- The scope of every field task is agreed with the client before work begins.
- Local partners are vetted and work only within the client's mandate.
- Evidence keeps its provenance — time, location and device — and is screened for tampering.
Your questions stay yours.
Confidential by default
What a client asks us to look at — suppliers, regions, scenarios — is confidential. Engagements can run under the client's own NDA.
Need-to-know
Engagement material is shared only with the people working on it, including field partners only to the extent their task requires.
Public desk, no personal profiling
Global Watch covers events, organisations and public officials acting in public roles. It does not profile private individuals, and allegations against named people or companies are removed unless independently reported.
We say how the work is done — including where AI does it.
Disclosure
- Global Watch is drafted by an AI analyst and independently fact-checked by a second AI pass.
- Numbers are inserted by code from collected data, never typed by a model.
- Client deliverables are reviewed by HELIOS analysts before release.
Corrections
- Material errors are corrected in the next edition and noted.
- Editions can be withdrawn; withdrawn editions are archived, not erased.
